چکیده مقاله:

This study explores the influential factors affecting the administration of treatment centers in rural villages in Iran, focusing on socio-economic, infrastructural, and managerial aspects. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative data from ۲۰۰ treatment center administrators and qualitative insights from ۵۰ healthcare workers and community leaders across five provinces. Findings reveal that socio-economic conditions, such as poverty and lack of transportation, significantly impact access to healthcare services. Infrastructural challenges, including outdated facilities and insufficient medical equipment, hinder service delivery, while workforce shortages exacerbate the issue, as rural areas struggle to attract and retain skilled professionals due to low wages and limited career growth opportunities. Government support, both in terms of financial assistance and targeted policies, was identified as a critical enabler for efficient administration, with better-funded provinces showing improved healthcare outcomes. The study also highlights the role of community engagement, demonstrating that active involvement of local populations in healthcare planning and management enhances the performance and sustainability of treatment centers. Recommendations include increasing government investment in rural healthcare, modernizing infrastructure, expanding training programs for healthcare workers, and fostering community-driven initiatives to address gaps in resources and services. By addressing these challenges holistically, the administration of treatment centers in rural Iran can be strengthened, ensuring equitable and accessible healthcare for underserved populations. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the administrative dynamics in rural healthcare settings, offering actionable insights for policymakers, healthcare administrators, and community leaders to improve service delivery and patient outcomes in rural regions of Iran.
