چکیده مقاله:

The current study aims to synthesize silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) using Phoenix dactylifera aqueous leaf extract collected from Iran. Because this plant is environmentally friendly, non-hazardous and cost-effective compared to physical and chemical methods. It is green, safe, one-step and simple, without the need for chemical stabilizers and reducing agents. Production of silver nanoparticles was confirmed through Ultraviolet/Visible (UV-Vis), Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FT-IR). Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) techniques. The UV–Vis spectra showed that the absorption peak existed at ۴۲۰ nm. SEM analysis showed that the Ag-NPs synthesized from plant are spherical. Biological effects of the synthesized AgNPs exhibit satisfactory inhibitory effect against Escherichia coli (E. coli).
