As more variable renewable energy (VRE) such as wind and solar are integrated into electric power systems, technical challenges arise from the need to maintain the balance between load and generation at all timescales. This paper examines the challenges with integrating ultra- high levels of VRE into electric power system, reviews a range of solutions to these challenges, and provides a description of several examples of ultra-high VRE systems that are in operation today.

چکیده مقاله:
Additive Manufacturing is a manufacturing technology reliant on the extrusion of a thermoplasticfilament through a heated nozzle. One of the most prevalent techniques within AM is the FusedDeposition Modeling (FDM) method, which provides advantages such as ease of use and costreduction compared to other AM techniques. The raw materials for FDM predominantly consist ofpolymer materials. Specifically, one of the most widely used materials is Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) copolymer, renowned for its chemical resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance, rigidity, and polishability, which make it one of the most versatile materials for۳D printing. TPE has a relatively lower coefficient of thermal expansion and requires a relativelylower extrusion temperature, which reduces internal stresses during cooling, therefore, this leads toan improvement in printability properties. Different hardnesses of TPE possess different structuresand mechanical properties, resulting in different outcomes in the final formulation. In thisresearch, different hardness levels of TPU were mixed with ABS, and the mechanical propertiesand functional performance of them were investigated
