چکیده مقاله:

Caseous Lymphadenitis (CL) is an infectious, chronic, and contagious disease that primarily occurs in ruminants such as sheep, goats, horses, and camels. This disease is also known by other names such as “cheesy gland disease” or “thin ewe syndrome.” The main causative agent of this disease is the microorganism Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, which primarily targets the lymphatic system. In this study, using bioinformatics software and protein databases, pathogenic factors related to Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis were selected. After assessing the potential allergenicity and determining the T and B epitope mapping, a chimeric protein composed of conserved and immunogenic epitopes was designed, and its efficacy was evaluated through molecular docking methods. This research aimed to address the weaknesses of previous studies by employing bioinformatics methods to design and introduce a specific epitope-based vaccine against Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis with the goal of preventing caseous lymphadenitis in livestock
