چکیده مقاله:

The paper explores the recovery of mixed spent cathodes through carbothermic reduction process by which Li is isolated as Li۲CO۳. As a result, ۹۳.۵۵% Li are recovered by water leaching of carbothermic product. The recovery rate of Li in the carbothermic reduction is affected by the temperature, time, and dosage of graphite, respectively. The findings of this study demonstrate that Li can be acceptably separated from the mixed cathode material through a carbothermic reduction process at ۶۵۰℃ with ۱۰ wt% graphite for ۱۲۰ min and a water leaching process at a ratio of ۵۰ ml/g and ۰℃ for ۹۰ min as optimum conditions. Graphite anode used as a reducing agent is inexpensive and widely available. This method can make a positive contribution to sustainable development
