چکیده مقاله:
Due to the increase in world population and limited energy resources, countries are struggling with the issue of energy consumption. The crises that threaten nations and human societies are the lack of non-renewable (fossil) energy sources and the excessive consumption of these fuels, which leads to environmental pollution. These factors emphasize the importance of focusing on renewable energy sources. Renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, biological (bioenergy), geothermal and hydroelectric power are available through the natural environment and help preserve natural resources for future generations. By optimizing energy consumption through the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency measures, green hotels can significantly reduce their carbon footprint and costs while having a positive impact on the environment. Therefore, the aim of the research was to investigate the role of renewable energy in the tourism industry. This study used a systematic review method to analyze research related to tourism and renewable energy sources. The findings showed that green hotels are becoming increasingly popular as travelers become more aware of the environment. Renewable energy sources such as solar panels, wind turbines and biomass systems can significantly reduce energy costs for hotels while also minimizing greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, the integration of renewable energy sources in green hotels plays a vital role in promoting environmental sustainability in the tourism industry. As the demand for sustainable accommodation options continues to grow, green hotels that use renewable energy sources in a tourism landscape.
