چکیده مقاله:
Caparis spinosa is a perennial plant that is used to treat various human diseases, commonly known as caper plant or logji, caparis is an aromatic plant that grows in most of the Mediterranean basin and some parts of Western Asia as well as in Iran. does This plant has been used as a medicinal plant for a long time in traditional herbal medicine. The fruit of this plant medicinally helps to reduce blood sugar and blood fat. The numerous polyphenols and bioactive chemicals extracted from it have various therapeutic properties that have made this plant a target for further research as a health enhancer. The skin of caparis plant roots has many therapeutic properties and medicinal uses. Investigations on the roots of this plant have shown that the extract obtained from the root of this plant shows significant antimicrobial properties. Researchers have investigated that caparis root extract has an inhibitory effect against all types of bacteria and fungi. The aim of this research was to compare the antibacterial properties of Caparis fruit and root against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The results of microbial culture and non-growth halo indicated that caparis root extract inhibited ۹۹% of bacterial growth, while the culture medium containing caparis fruit extract showed ۶۰% non-growth compared to the control sample.
