چکیده مقاله:
Various forms of media, as one of the main contributors to shaping the culture and language of society, have profoundly impacted the evolution of speech styles in both formal and informal Iranian settings. In recent years, with the expansion of the internet and social networks, the type and style of speech among the public, especially youth, have significantly changed. These changes are particularly evident in informal environments, where colloquial language and new expressions are rapidly replacing formal and classical language. For instance, the use of short phrases, abbreviations, and even emoji's in online conversations has become a common trend. This type of speech, especially among the younger generation familiar with new technologies, has become more widespread and has contributed to the formation of a distinct and informal language in the virtual space. These changes not only affect everyday communication but have also gradually penetrated formal environments. On the other hand, official media such as television, radio, and the press also play an essential role in preserving and transmitting standard and formal language. Through educational and news programs, these media promote standard Persian and try to prevent sudden and uncontrollable changes. However, in some cases, the influencesof colloquial and informal language are clearly observed in these media as well. For instance, television hosts gradually use informal expressions and phrases to connect with younger audiences. Such transformations can eventually lead to changes in expectations and standards of formal speech. Overall, the impact of various media on the evolution of speech styles in Iran reflects a complex interaction between culture, language, and technology that may lead to the growth and development of the Persian language in the future.
