چکیده مقاله:

The following study integrates Supply Chain Management with Lean Production methods for enhancing operational efficiency and improving business function performance. In the research, SCM has been explained on the basis of its planning, sourcing, production, and inventory management improvements-all crucial components of SCM-and subsequently discusses its role in enhancing operational effectiveness and increasing customer satisfaction. At the same time, Lean Production has been studied to identify and eliminate various types of wastes, the targeting of which is aimed at increasing productivity. A mixed-methods framework was conducted that combined case studies with an in-depth data collection from a sample of ۲۹۵ participants, divided into three main departments: production, planning and warehouse, and workshop planning. To examine the effect of SCM and Lean Production practices on operational efficiency, planning and control, and sustainability, the study adapted coefficient correlation matrix analysis. Statistical results from the analyses conducted showed that good SCM and Lean Production practices are positively related to improved business performance measures.Precisely, the outcome of the integrated practices was reduced lead times, lower inventory cost, and quality products. The findings also prove that an integration of SCM and Lean Production will have these methodologies create the desired synergies toward more agile and responsive supply chains. This present study, therefore, underlines the importance of continuous improvement and employee involvement towards sustaining operational benefits. Organizations with this integrated approach will be better positioned to achieve fullest operational excellence with sustainable growth and hence will sustain the competitive advantage in the marketplace. The work has, therefore, been a source of useful lessons to managers and practitioners seeking either to start or improve existing SCM and Lean Production initiatives in the light of a better understanding of the benefits and challenges that come with the methods. The case study was conducted in a large-scale Iranian exporting company, which exports almost to all Asian, Middle East, South American, African, and Eastern European countries and has ۴۵۰ employees, based on organizational standard processes and comprehensive databases. The identification of operational complexities and major trends explored an improved understanding of how integrated supply chain management and Lean Production methodologies might further support operational excellence and sustainable development in the competitive global manufacturing environment.Key Words: Supply Chain Management, Lean Production, Coefficient Correlation Matrix, Operational Efficiency, Waste Reduction, Case Study, Leadership, Iran
