چکیده مقاله:
The rapidly shifting global demand for skills and the general and vocational education systems' sluggish response to modify their skill offerings are causing developing nations to become more and more alarmed. Because of this, a lot of employers lament their employees' lack of training and skills. The fact that there is a shortage of skills in the labor market is causing policymakers to become more and more concerned. As it helps current employees acquire skills relevant to their jobs, investing in on-the-job training by organizations is one significant way to reduce this skills gap. Training acceptance is aided by employees' perceptions of the program. As a result, workers engage in learning tasks with greater motivation and ultimately apply their acquired knowledge and skills to their positions. Given the importance of the customs organization in the economy, the aim of this study was to examine employees' perceptions of training using a questionnaire. It was a case study conducted at West-Tehran Customs. This research was conducted on a stratified random sampling basis. The findings demonstrated that the majority of staff members think training program are essential to bridging their knowledge and skill gaps. Furthermore, a majority of the workforce credited the availability of training programs for the rise in effectiveness, efficiency and motivation. However, staff members felt that the organization's educational planning impeded their ability to finish the tasks they were given. Customs employees generally have a good understanding of the role of training and understand that proper planning is essential to ensure that their services are not impacted by frequent changes in laws and policies or the need to adopt new technologies.
