A Walk Around Science and Technology Parks: History, Analysis of Features and Design Factors

The connection between industry and technology in today's societies is not hidden from anyone. Small ideas can be the creators of large and wealth-creating industries. In addition, the growth of industry, technology, science and economy means the growth of a society. A growth that, in addition to increasing wealth in society, will lead to cultural growth. The emergence of growth and creativity requires factors that demand their own favorable environment. Science and technology parks are proposed as a response to this and with the main goal of filling the gap between technology and industry. Today, science and technology parks at the global level and in advanced societies, not only mean an environment for the growth of science and technology, but also for the growth of industry, support for start-ups and create jobs in order to promote universities and industry.In addition, in many advanced societies, science and technology parks have gone beyond the mentioned category and by declaring their identity as landmarks, they have raised themselves at the global level, increasing wealth and cultural growth. The research method in this study was descriptive and analytical using library sources. Considering the widespread movement of societies towards the construction of science and technology parks and the close relationship between science and industry more than any other time in the present era, examining the points and criteria related to the design of science and technology parks can be a positive approach for the future developments of architecture and the construction industry.
