چکیده مقاله:
The COVID-۱۹ outbreak represents a rapid and severe global pandemic where controlling its spread relies significantly on individual responses until a vaccine and appropriate treatments are available .The best way to prevent COVID-۱۹ is to observe health protocols. Therefore, identifying the reasons of following these protocols in order to plan and make intervention seems necessary. Accumulating evidence has unravelled several COVID-۱۹-related health disparities including age, race, and overall health of the individual. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between age and compliance with health principles to prevent infection with the COVID – ۱۹ virus. For this purpose, ۵۲ people whose ages were between ۲۵-۷۵ were selected from Salmas city to answer the author questionnaire , regarding the health principles in the prevention of the COVID- ۱۹ virus. The results obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed with SPSS Software. The final results of this study showed that there is a relationship between age and compliance with health principles. There is a strong link between aging and the reduction of health care in the prevention of Coronavirus disease COVID-۱۹. Compliance with health principles against the COVID -۱۹ virus decreases by increasing age. The results were displayed in different tables and graphs. The findings in this study indicated a statistically significant effect of age on Iranian Compliance with Health Protocols to Prevent of COVID-۱۹. This is another reminder for all of us to follow appropriate social distancing protocols, wear masks, and avoid in-person meetings with large groups. These actions will not only result in the well-being of younger population but will also be instrumental in reducing transmission to high-risk populations. Novel therapeutic approaches need to be generated in order to improve infectious disease outcomes and enhance health in older adults.
