چکیده مقاله:

The lack of studies focusing on improving strategies for the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in theconstruction industry underscores a critical gap in research and practice. While there is growing interest in AI'spotential to revolutionize construction processes, there remains a dearth of empirical studies and evidence-basedapproaches to guide its effective implementation. Without comprehensive investigations into the specificchallenges and opportunities within the construction context, stakeholders may struggle to develop targetedstrategies that address industry-specific needs and constraints. This paper examined the challenges and strategiesfor the application of AI in United Arab Emirates (UAE's) construction industry. Through a comprehensiveanalysis of the current state of AI adoption in construction management, significant challenges hindering itswidespread integration have been identified using fuzzy ANP and experts’ opinions, including the complexity ofconstruction projects, limited technological infrastructure, and insufficient AI awareness and education. Drawingupon methodologies such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD), tailored strategies have been developed toaddress these obstacles and enhance AI application in construction management. Recommendations for futuredirections include continued investment in research and development, promotion of knowledge sharing and skillsdevelopment, and establishment of supportive regulatory frameworks. By embracing these recommendations,UAE's construction industry can leverage AI to drive innovation, enhance productivity, and improve projectoutcomes, positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven construction innovation.
