چکیده مقاله:

This study examines the mediation roles of international organizations such as the United Nations (UN), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the African Union (AU) in conflict resolution, focusing on the effectiveness of their interventions. By analyzing various case studies, including peacekeeping missions, diplomatic negotiations, and crisis management strategies, this research identifies the mechanisms through which these organizations facilitate dialogue and promote peace. It highlights the successes and challenges faced by these entities, including issues of legitimacy, resource constraints, and the influence of geopolitical interests. The findings reveal that while organizations like the UN have historically played crucial roles in conflict mediation, their effectiveness is often contingent upon member state cooperation and local dynamics. In contrast, regional organizations such as the AU demonstrate a more nuanced understanding of the specific contexts in which they operate, leading to varying degrees of success in their interventions. Ultimately, this study underscores the importance of adaptive strategies and collaborative approaches in enhancing the efficacy of international organizations in mediating conflicts and fostering sustainable peace. The insights gained from this analysis contribute to a deeper understanding of the evolving landscape of global governance and the critical role of multilateral institutions in addressing contemporary security challenges.
