Liver Cancer Treatment Using PLGA-Coated Chitosan Nanoparticles

Liver cancer is one of the most common and deadly cancers in the world, and the number ofpatients worldwide is continuously increasing. Considering the challenges of this disease and the need formore research to achieve early and timely diagnosis, targeted drug delivery methods and new therapeuticcompounds such as nanoparticles are being investigated to increase effectiveness and reduce side effects.A brief study was conducted on the characteristics of nanoparticles effective on liver cancer. Some of thesenanoparticles help release drugs into cancer cells, while others can absorb light and convert it into heat,helping photothermal therapy kill cancer cells.
