Aluminum-based nanocomposites are recognized for their lightweight properties, excellent corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness, making them suitable for various engineering applications. These applications span industries such as automotive, aerospace, power systems, marine, and defense. This paper provides a comprehensive review of recent advancements in the methods and manufacturing techniques employed in the production of aluminum-based metal matrix nanocomposites. It also explores the types of nanomaterials used, highlighting innovations that enhance the performance and applicability of these composites in demanding engineering fields. The findings aim to inform future research and development in this evolving area of materials science.
