The production of alumina parts by ۳D printing is one of the challenges in the ceramics industry. Whenthese parts are manufactured using a ۳D printer, it becomes possible to design and manufacture complexgeometric components while reducing the likelihood of defects through the use of molds. One of theimportant methods developed in this type of manufacturing is the printing of ceramic paste usingextrusion printers, commonly referred to as robocasting. In this ۳D printing method, the printability of thepaste significantly affects the final quality and strength of the produced part. Therefore, the type andamount of materials used in the paste formulation have a significant impact on the properties of the pasteand ultimately the final properties of the printed part. Therefore, the present research aims to preparepastes with ۷۰ wt% alumina using two different types of PVA as polymer binders with different mixingratios of ۷۵/۲۵, ۵۰/۵۰ and ۲۵/۷۵. These pastes show not only good printability and optimal rheologicalproperties, but also the best flexural strength and density. It was observed that the sample with the highestratio of PVA, which has a lower evaporation temperature, showed the best printability, while the sampleswith equal ratios of binder combinations showed the highest strength and density.
