چکیده مقاله:

Gellan Gum, a biodegradable and biocompatible polysaccharide, shows significant potential in tissueengineering, especially for scaffold creation. Its properties such as non-toxicity, stability with cations, hydrogelformation, compatibility with other biomaterials, and adjustable mechanics make it ideal for supporting cell growth, differentiation, and drug delivery. This review explores Gellan Gum’s gelation, biocompatibility, and use in scaffoldsfor bone repair, wound healing, and drug release. Fabrication methods like freeze-drying, cross-linking,electrospinning, and ۳D printing improve scaffold complexity and bioactivity. Combining GG with materials enhancesits properties, and current research aims to address challenges, promoting future applications in tissue repair.
