Multi-directional forging (MDF) is performed on commercially pure titanium (cp-Ti) with intermediateannealing at ۶۵۰°C between MDF cycles to investigate the effect of intermediate annealing on mechanical propertiesenhancement. This technique successfully led to the highest strength achieved by utilizing three MDF cycles withintermediate annealing at ۶۵۰℃, increasing the cp-Ti tensile strength by ۶۹% compared to the tensile strength of ۴۳۴MPa for the as-received material. Although the ductility decreased by ۳۸%, the elongation was ۱۸.۵%, which isacceptable. In conclusion, the combination of MDF with intermediate annealing is an effective method to enhance themechanical properties of cp-Ti.
