چکیده مقاله:

Crystalline structure, representing the ordered arrangement of atoms within a material, significantly influences its mechanical properties, including fatigue resistance. Bending,a common metal forming process, can induce substantial changes in the crystalline structure. These alterations, in turn, affect the material's behavior under various stress conditions.(۱)(۲) The primary objective of this research was to meticulously investigate the impact of the bending process on the structural changes and crystallographic orientations in sheet metals and correlate these changes with the mechanical properties of the resulting components. In simpler terms, this study aimed to understand how the bending process affects the microstructure of metals and the factors influencing these changes. Numerical simulations and electron microscopy, complemented by data from other sources, were employed to analyze the crystalline structural changes. The results revealed that bending can induce significant alterations in the distribution of crystallographic orientations and enhance mechanical properties such as strength and resistance to torsional stresses. This research can contribute to optimizing bending processes in the metal industry and designing components with superior mechanical properties.(۳)
