Prenatal attachment to the psychological and social effects ofChildbearing: A review Study

Objective: Having children and forming a family are important aspects of life that are associatedwith many effects and blessings in life together. The present study was designed to examine thesepsychological and social effects of having children from pregnancy to after birth.Materials and Methods: We reviewed ۶۸ studies conducted between ۲۰۰۰ and ۲۰۲۴ using thekeywords Prenatal Attachment and Childbearing in the ISI Scopus, PubMed, ScienceDirect, GoogleScholar, SID, Iranmedex, and Magiran databases.Findings: Children in the family affect various aspects of life, from prenatal attachment to themental health and happiness of parents, the strength of the family foundation, the promotion of thepersonality and spiritual levels of parents, family dynamics, increased life expectancy, andincreased social interactions.Conclusion: Considering the effects of childbearing, it is necessary for the country's stakeholdersto take more effective steps with realistic plans to convince people to increase the number ofchildren
