چکیده مقاله:

Background: During the coronavirus pandemic, several factors such as stress, depression,infection, and vaccination against the COVID-۱۹ virus have caused changes in the menstrual cycle.Objective: This systematic review aimed to provide a comprehensive interpretation of thechanges in the menstrual cycle of women of reproductive age and menopause after coronavirusvaccination. Method: Electronic databases, including Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus,ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Cochrane, SAGE, Springer, Google Scholar, and CINHAL weresearched for published studies from March ۲۰۲۰ to Jun ۲۰۲۳. Of the ۶۸۲ references identified inthe initial search, ۲۷ studies met the inclusion criteria.Results: This systematic review showed that the most common disorder reported was menorrhagiaand delay in menstruation. Postmenstrual disorders, spotting, and resumption of menstruation werealso seen in postmenopausal women.Conclusion: Menstrual abnormalities can cause worry in women, fear of infertility in the future,and weaken the quality of life of women, but the effects are temporary and transitory.
