چکیده مقاله:

Artificial breeding of sturgeon fishs for the purpose of meat production and caviar extraction has a short history in the world. In fact, sturgeon fish are rare and very old species, whose cultivation has received attention in recent years. But the lack of sufficient information about the optimal breeding conditions, nutritional needs, formulating artificial foods for them, etc., especially about the species of sturgeon that live in the southern basin of the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea compared to other cultured aquatic animals, it has been given less attention and therefore suffers from a lot of backwardness. This has caused the breeding of sturgeon fish, especially in the early stages of life, to still rely on natural foods and in the breeding stages, it is mainly dependent on free-range fish foods, food limitation for many aquatic animals, such as fish, is a natural phenomenon that occurs due to food shortage, climate change, reproduction, migration, and other factors [۱].Feeding in fishs is one of the important factors affecting the growth performance and it accounts for the major part of the cost in breeding farms. In this article, the nutrition of sturgeon fish and the effect of nutrition on the growth of these fish are discussed.
