چکیده مقاله:

An observational checklist has been developed and adapted for Persian-speaking users to assess municipal solid waste management. This will fill the gap in assessing compliance with local standards and cultural nuances between environmental health teams and municipal authorities. The tool has been validated through expert reviews and pilot tests to address critical deficiencies in the waste management systems, offering a scalable, culturally adapted solution. It will probably improve monitoring, efficiency, and sustainability in waste management practices and therefore contribute to the global efforts of sustainable development. This study prepared the first official observational checklist for assessing the environmental management of environmental health expert teams and urban service units in Iran, covering the existing problem. Periodically, the observational checklist needs revision to reflect changes or new requirements that must be reviewed and updated.
