چکیده مقاله:

The persistent presence of synthetic dyes in wastewater, particularly Basic Yellow, poses significantenvironmental and health risks due to their toxic and carcinogenic properties. In this study, TiO₂/GOnanocomposites were synthesized, characterized, and evaluated for their photocatalytic degradationefficiency of Basic Yellow dye. The nanocomposite exhibited enhanced photocatalytic performanceattributed to improved surface area, charge mobility, and reduced electron-hole recombination rates.Optimal conditions for dye removal were identified as pH ۱۱, a photocatalyst dosage of ۰.۰۱ g, and aninitial dye concentration of ۱۰ ppm, achieving a maximum removal efficiency of ۸۷% within ۱ hourunder visible light. Kinetic analysis confirmed that the degradation followed a pseudo-first-order modelwith an R² value of ۰.۹۹۳۸. Reusability experiments demonstrated the nanocomposite's stability, retaining over ۵۰% efficiency after five cycles. These findings establish TiO₂/GO nanocomposites as apromising material for the sustainable and efficient treatment of dye-contaminated wastewater.
