چکیده مقاله:

In recent decades, one of the most significant areas of study for medical applications has beentissue engineering. Regenerative medicine is acknowledged to require the use of biomaterials. On top of these components, cells develop and proliferate to form the primary structures. Therehave been numerous attempts in the past few years to use the polycondensationpolymerization technique to create synthetic biopolymers by combining dialcohols and diacids. There has been a sharp increase in interest in novel green highly branched polyesters(HBPEs). Because of their distinctive structure, abundance of end groups, low viscosity, excellent solubility, and simplicity of synthesis, HBPEs have garnered a lot of interest.Someexamples of polyesters made from glycerol and dicarboxylic acids like succinic, sebacic, oradipic acid are poly(glycerol succinate) (PGSu). Poly(glycerol sebacate), a well-known tissueengineering polyester that was suggested as a scaffold material or scaffold addition for cardiac, bone, cartilage, nerve, and ocular tissue, shares many of the same characteristics as PGSu.In this review article, we want to review the recent advances in biodegradable elastomersbased on poly(glycerol-succinic acid) in tissue engineering.
