چکیده مقاله:

PVC/CaCO۳ polymer nanocomposites in different compositions were produced using two-roller milling and compression molding. This structure was observed using an electron microscope, then the mechanical, static and dynamic properties of the structure were determined. The presence of nanometer particles of calcium carbonate causes a slight decrease in tensile strength, but on the other hand, it improves the impact of energy and storage modulus and fracture toughness. Examination of surface fracture by electron microscope shows that the advanced fracture properties in nanocomposites are caused by the formation of effective voids in the particles. This hypothesis is supported by a microstructure based on finite element modeling based on plastic and elastic deformation. It is around the weakly bonded particle that provides an explanation for both the uniaxial tensile behavior and the enhanced hardness of nanocomposites.
