Investigating the Metallography and Morphology of ST۳۷ Steel Coated by the Cladding Process

The purpose of this research is to investigate the structure and morphology of the mechanical parts coated with welding and the parameters affecting it. Cladding is one of the metal coating methods that increase the resistance to wear and corrosion and increase the hardness of the base metal. In this method, ۳۶ samples (i.e. ۱۸ cases with double repetition) with three layers of welding on a surface of the base metal, coating and the effect of three independent variables, the type of electrode, the first layer and the electric current of the welding machine, and the effect of these parameters on the structure, morphology and Ferrite, pearlite, austenite and martensite phases of the parts were investigated.
