Today, one of the most important parameters that are important in manufacturing industries for mechanical parts produced is the lifespan and durability of the part in the relevant environmental and working conditions. The degree of hardness of the part during use and when the parts clash with each other is one of the factors affecting this parameter. Also, being in contact with other materials and parts is another factor affecting the life of the part, which may cause corrosion of the part and ultimately lead to the loss of the part. In this regard, it is always tried to make the parts economically resistant to this wear and corrosion, in addition to considering the working environment conditions. The aim of the current research is to investigate the changes in the hardness of welding parts and the parameters affecting it. Cladding is one of the metal coating methods that increase the resistance to wear and corrosion and increase the hardness of the base metal. In this method, ۳۶ samples (i.e. ۱۸ cases with double repetition) were coated with three welding layers on a surface of the base metal, and the effect of three independent variables, electrode type, first layer and electric current of the welding machine on the hardness level was investigated. In the findings, it was found that when the electric current of the device has a lower limit, the piece has a better hardness. During this research, it has been determined that the type of electrode structure and the choice of the first layer electrode and the changes caused by the electric current are effective in increasing the hardness of the part. To be clearer, it should be said that the type of electrode in the first layer and the amount of current have the greatest impact on this goal.
