چکیده مقاله:

Cadmium-telluride (CdTe) solar cells are thin-film photovoltaic devices composed of a semiconductor layer made of cadmium and tellurium. They're widely used in photovoltaic power plants due to their low manufacturing cost and high efficiency. CdTe solar cells efficiently convert sunlight into electricity, with current commercial modules achieving efficiencies over ۲۰%. To increase efficiency further, ongoing research focuses on optimizing the material quality, improving the interface between different layers, enhancing light trapping mechanisms, and exploring novel device architectures. Additionally, advancements in manufacturing techniques and scaling up production can contribute to cost reduction and further boost the adoption of CdTe solar technology. Their applications include utility-scale solar farms, residential and commercial rooftop installations, and off-grid power systems, contributing to the global shift towards renewable energy sources. By using Tandem method in the manufacturing process, we were able to increase the productivity by ۲% and we have provided the possibility of more profit in the industry[۱], [۲], [۳].
