چکیده مقاله:

This study base engine is originate from D۸۷with Diesel and Dual fuel engine. In this paper,gas engine development has been investigated toimprove spark ignition engine with natural gas incomparison with base Diesel engine with almost۱۰۰۰ kW output power. In this engine, sparkplug and turbocharging system with lean burnconcept was selected as the most promising forhigh specific power, and which held theprospects of high efficiency and low emissionsas well. This has proved to be a very successfuldevelopment strategy and is the dominating gasengine type of today, and these concept-leadingconsiderations are discussed in the Paper. Inorder to simulate engine behavior instead oftesting it in test room is using numerical method.Finite-volume, the relations between differentcam shafts have been derived where the intakevalve opening crank angle and maximum lift areequal but intake valve closure is changedchronologically order. Computational FluidDynamic has been used to solve the equations inone dimensional GT POWER and tridimensionalAVL FIRE software. The results, such as engineperformance and in-cylinder pressure andtemperature are presented. These results showthat with earlier intake valve closure, it ispossible to decrease maximum in-cylinderpressure as well as maximum temperature. It isshown that swirl and tumble effect can displacethe ignition development region. In emissionanalysis, NOx, as one of the most importantemissions in gas engine has reducedapproximately to half with shortening theduration of valve opening. Unburnedhydrocarbon is also presented.
