چکیده مقاله:
The morphology and microstructure in an injectionmolding for polyethylene/polyethylene terephthalate andpolyethylene/polycarbonate blended parts have beeninvestigated by SEM pictures. The part that is hollowcube produces in tow levels injection speed processingparameter. The studied sections of the parts are dividedto four layers: skin layer, sub-skin layer, intermediatelayer and core layer. The immiscible PET and PCparticles were scattered into matrix PE. The skin layerhas been ignored in this research. The results indicatedthat the scattered particles in the sub skin layer wereelongated and fibrous. The scattered particles in corezone were spherical. The intermediate layer existsbetween this tow layers. The scattered particles in thislayer were ellipsoidal. In this research, the injectionspeed parameter impact on microstructure has beenexplored. Furthermore, morphological exploration hasbeen performed. The diameter of the scattered particleswere examined in the three layers using cross section ofthe specimen and were compared together. The resultsindicated that the size, shape and microstructureproperties depended not only on the type and materialproperties, but also on the injection parameters such asinjection speed and the positions in the molded parts.
