Internet of Things security is a subset of cybersecurity that focuses on protecting, monitoring,and remediating threats related to the Internet of Things, or the network of connected devicesthat collect, store, and share data over the Internet. IoT security challenges can be verycontroversial because many IoT devices are not built with strong security. The security risk inIoT is greater because the sensitivity of the data that IoT devices collect and store, as well as thesystems they manage, is far greater than traditional personal network security strategies.Although the Internet of Things has become one of the most practical technologies today and isused in many different industries, few people are familiar with the architecture of the Internet ofThings and how it works. The Internet of Things (IoT) industry, as one of the technologies of thefourth industrial revolution, has seen great growth in recent years and is expected to experiencegreat growth in the coming years. Many businesses are already using this technology and haveinvested heavily in it. Nevertheless, the challenges of the Internet of Things can always putproblems in the path of the advancement of this technology, and for this reason, familiarity withthese challenges will be necessary and essential for managing and planning as well as possiblefor the advancement of this technology.
