Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects millions of children, significantly hindering their learning and academic success. This review article explores the impact of cognitive training interventions on improving learning outcomes in children diagnosed with ADHD. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of cognitive training programs in enhancing cognitive functions such as attention, working memory, and executive functioning, which are crucial for academic achievement. The research method involves a comprehensive literature review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and meta-analyses published in peer-reviewed journals. Data from these studies are analyzed to identify patterns and determine the overall efficacy of cognitive training. The findings suggest that structured cognitive training can lead to moderate improvements in working memory and attention spans, with some evidence indicating enhanced academic performance. However, results vary based on the type of training and the duration of the intervention. While cognitive training shows promise as a complementary approach to traditional treatments, limitations such as inconsistent outcomes and the need for long-term follow-up are highlighted. The article concludes that more rigorous and longitudinal studies are required to fully understand the potential of cognitive training as an intervention for children with ADHD, emphasizing the importance of personalized and adaptive training programs.
