چکیده مقاله:
Multiphase induction machines has the advantages of reduction in inverter power per phase, more reliability, more efficiency, less pulsating torque, less noise pollution and etc.However, increasing the phase number causes the need of more power electronic devices and peripheral equipments such assensors. In Vector control, speed signal feedback is provided by encoder or resolver. However, in some advanced applications, theability of using these sensors is restricted because of some reasons such as price, weight, space limitation and reliability concerns inharsh environment. In this paper, MRAS-based speed observer has been used for speed estimation in vector control of four-phase induction machine. Rotor flux is used as state variable for MRASstructure and speed observer stability is analyzed by Popov’s hyper-stability theory. The simulation results verify the performance of sensorless vector control of a four-phase induction machine.
