Due to the severe challenges associated with climate change and the increasing need for sustainable energy sources, efforts to develop and optimize renewable energy systems have been greatly increased. Artificial intelligence (AI) as a new tool has a high potential in improving the performance and efficiency of these systems. This article examines the methods and applications of artificial intelligence in the design of renewable energy systems and analyzes its effects on optimizing the performance of these systems. In this study, artificial intelligence algorithms and techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, and intelligent optimization algorithms are discussed, which help to optimize the design, predict energy production, and increase the ability of load management in renewable energy systems. Also, the applications of these techniques in solar, wind, and energy storage systems are also evaluated. In order to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to use artificial intelligence in the design of renewable energy systems, this article investigates the capabilities of this new technology in optimizing the performance and efficiency of systems. The results show that the use of artificial intelligence can significantly help to optimize the performance of renewable energy systems, reduce costs and increase their reliability. In the end, the article emphasizes the necessity of further research in the field of artificial intelligence and the development of intelligent algorithms in order to achieve global goals in the field of sustainable energy.
