purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of schema therapy on emotional regulation and psychological well-being in married women. The research method is semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population in this research includes all women with military spouses in one district of Tehran. In order to conduct the research, clients who have military spouses were subjected to clinical evaluation through interviews and questionnaires. Non-random sampling continued until ۲۴ married women with military spouses were selected and placed equally in two groups of ۱۲. For this purpose, the investigated groups experienced schema therapy during ۱۰ two-hour sessions and ۱ session per week. During this period, the control group did not receive any training. After the end of the sessions, the control and experimental groups were evaluated again by a questionnaire, and treatment sessions were held for the control group if they wished. In the inferential statistics section, after examining the basic assumptions of parametric statistics, including the Kolmogorov Smirnov test, the correlation of regression slopes and the homogeneity of interactive effects to answer the research questions and examine the research hypotheses from multivariate covariance analysis using SPSS version ۲۴ statistical software. It is suggested to the mental health specialists to make a codified and comprehensive program to improve the level of mental health of people by using the method of teaching therapeutic schemas to prevent the consequences of mental and emotional problems so that they do not lead to physical diseases.
