چکیده مقاله:

A peer-to-peer (P۲P) network is a decentralized communication model between two peers, also known as nodes, that can communicate with each other without the need for a central server. Unlike the seeder/leecher (or client/server) model, where a seeder makes a request and a leecher fulfills the request, the peer-to-peer network model allows each party to act as both a seeder and a leecher to act. This means that the network, once formed, can be used by participants to share and store files without the help of an intermediary. This article studies the role and applications of P۲P or peer-to-peer computer networks in the electricity industry of the country. P۲P networks, as a new approach in communication and data transfer, have been able to bring about major changes in this industry. In this paper, the importance of P۲P networks for improving the performance, managing power distribution, and increasing the efficiency of power systems is investigated. The role of these networks in topics such as intelligent power distribution management, monitoring of power systems, energy optimization, and participation in data transmission between different devices has been carefully examined and expressed. Also, the challenges and benefits of using these networks in the electricity industry of the country have been investigated.
