چکیده مقاله:
One of the fundamental relationships between God and the human being is that the latter is a perfect and complete manifestation or the greatest self-disclosure of God. No other entity has the capacity to reveal all the Divine Attributes in the manner that a human being who has realized his potential does. Authorities of Islamic mysticism have discussed this principle in their respective works in detail. Foremost among them is Shaykh al-Akbar Ibn al-‘Arabi, who is reckoned to have employed this term for the first time in a specific technical sense in the world of theoretical mysticism. It is important however to ratify the reality of what the mystics behold through spiritual intuition and unveiling. One of the ways to do so, is to refer to the Quran and the Sunnah, which are reckoned to be the sources of the Complete Muhammadan Unveiling. In this paper we have tried to verify the reality of the greatest self-disclosure through various expressions of the Quran and Sunnah based on the esoteric interpretations of authoritative scholars of mysticism.
