چکیده مقاله:
Slavery is a trans-religious phenomenon that humans have faced throughout history, and after the advent of Islam, due to the impact of slaves on social and economic life, it was not logical to abolish it all at once, therefore, a new and unique face was drawn for it. Among the ancient laws, Islam was the first religion that considered slaves as a part of human society and recognized human rights for them. The laws of Islam regarding slavery, unlike the laws before Islam and even the laws of slavery in the contemporary era, were not only to determine the way of dealing with slaves, but at the same time, it also includes the path of their freedom. Of course, it cannot be denied that some historical reports have created a negative mentality around Islamic laws in dealing with slaves, but a distinction must always be made between Islam and its real leaders and fallible Muslims.
