چکیده مقاله:
Climate and climatic elements directly affect the human body. And they play a significant role in thermal comfort, physical well-being and human health. Also, in some cases, they prevent the presence of citizens and the occurrence of activities in urban spaces. This issue specifies the need to pay attention to the climate issue and control the inappropriate effects of climatic elements in urban environments. Although it has been more than half a century that the knowledge base in climate issues has been expanding, but there is little evidence of the practical application of the results of climate studies in urban design. Microclimate is complicated and difficult to use in urban design because many of these results are scientific and theoretical and cannot be used in design operations. Therefore, it seems that there is a gap between these two knowledges (city climatology and urban design). Traditional transportation, using new patterns of urban planning without considering the theoretical foundations appropriate to climatic conditions, include an important part of the man-made environment, which originates from The main phenomenon is climate change. Therefore, redefining the basic principles of urban planning in line with the climate change approach, on the one hand, leads to the creation of a sustainable environment, and on the other hand, it reduces the negative effects of the climate change phenomenon. The aim of the current research is to identify the two-way relationship between the structure of urban design and the phenomenon of climate change in a cyclical process. The current research is a basic research in which the interpretive approach is used. The technique used in this approach is qualitative content analysis. The achievement of the present research is redefining the structures of urban design and climate change in accordance with the man-made environment, providing a framework for planning and urban design based on reducing the adverse effects of climate change, and providing a conceptual framework for the interaction of urban design (procedural and substantive dimensions) and climate change in a coherent structure.
