A Hybrid Model for ERP Implementation in Large Organizations: Combining Agile and Traditional Methodologies

Implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects canbe quite challenging, particularly for large companies such aselectric distribution firms. This article explores a unique approachthat integrates Agile and traditional techniques to enhance theeffectiveness of ERP initiatives. By thoroughly analyzing variousliterature and real-life examples, we examine the advantages andchallenges of adopting this hybrid strategy. Our research indicatesthat this approach significantly improves project outcomescompared to solely using traditional or Agile practices. Ultimately,we find that the hybrid model is especially beneficial inenvironments where ERP projects frequently fall short ofexpectations.
