This paper explores the critical role of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)in optimizing sales systems within the airline industry. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study integrates quantitative data analysis andqualitative insights to demonstrate the significant impact of KPIs onstrategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and customersatisfaction. Findings highlight the importance of integrating digital andtraditional marketing strategies, fostering a data-driven culture, andleveraging KPIs for customer-centric innovation. Practical implicationsfor Sales and Marketing Directors are discussed, emphasizing the need forstrategic agility and data literacy. The study also identifies future researchdirections, including the impact of emerging technologies, regionalstrategy comparisons, and the integration of sustainability metrics. Thiscomprehensive analysis provides a valuable framework for enhancingairline sales systems and achieving sustained competitive advantage.
