Investigation of GAD disorder among the first secondary students of Dezful city and the effect of GAD on the academic performance of students in the academic year of ۱۴۰۲-۱۴۰۳

The present study was conducted to investigate the GAD disorder among the first secondarystudents of Dezful city and the effect of GAD on the students' academic performance. Interms of practical purpose and in terms of implementation, this research is a semiexperimentaldesign in the form of pre-test-post-test, which was carried out on ۳۰ students ofthe first secondary school of Dezful in ۱۴۰۳. The sampling method was a multi-stage clusterrandom sampling. The samples were selected and randomly replaced in two groups of ۱۵experimental people and ۱۵ control people. After selecting people and assigning them tocontrol and experimental groups, the control group did not receive any program (the effect ofGAD disorder); But the experimental group underwent the program for ۱۰ one-hour sessions.A relevant questionnaire was used to collect research data. One-way and multi-way analysisof covariance was used to analyze the data. The results showed that GAD affects theacademic performance of students.
