چکیده مقاله:

The use of hydrogen as a clean fuel has attracted the attention of manyscientists due to energy issues and environmental pollution caused byfossil fuels. A key requirement for expanding the use of hydrogen is toinvestigate and analyze the thermodynamics of the liquefaction cycle, which includes the investigation of different hydrogen liquefactioncycles during precooling and cryogenic cooling. The hydrogenliquefaction process is integrated with the gasification process ofliquefied natural gas, with the help of an organic Rankine cycle, whichis considered as a hydrogen pre-cooling cycle. Also, a refrigerationsystem that includes a dual-pressure Joule-Brayton cycle for cooling.Hydrogen is considered. Refrigeration system includes two Joule-Brayton cascade cycles. Simulation and analysis were done usingAspen HYSYS V۱۲. The results showed that in all cycles, more than۵۰% of the input exergy is lost in the cryogenic cooling stage. Thevalues of SEC, COP and EXE cycles are ۶.۶۰۱ kWh/kgLH۲, ۰.۱۹۹۳۶ and۴۵.۸۸۳%, respectively. Energy and exergy analysis of liquefactioncycles is an important step towards improving cycle efficiency, identifying weak points and modifying cycles to increase performance.
