چکیده مقاله:
Today, research on virtual power plants (VPPs) has increasedsignificantly, with new topics in this field being explored every day.One of the most important issues in the electricity grid that manyresearchers focus on is the balance between producers' profits and theamount of pollutant emissions. This paper considers six VPPs that aretasked with providing the desired load, while also addressing variousobjectives such as maximizing producers' profits, minimizing pollutantemissions, and considering both objectives simultaneously. These goalsare examined in three different scenarios. In the first scenario, all VPPsare connected to the grid. In the second scenario, some power plantsencounter issues during certain hours and disconnect from the grid. Inthe third scenario, similar to the second, there is a sudden increase inload. The results indicate that when there are connectivity issues withVPPs and a sudden increase in load occurs, producers' profits aresignificantly reduced, while the amount of pollutant emissions alsodecreases. The focus of this article is on economic and environmentalissues related to VPPs. The obtained results are very promising andshow the importance of creating VPP networks.
