Objective: As teachers have better understanding and awareness of different learning styles, the level of frustration and dissatisfaction of students decreases and it can be helpful to improve teaching methods. Up to now, most of studies have been conducted in the field of medicine, and other fields such as dentistry have been neglected. Furthermore, until now, domestic studies have not surveyed International students in IRAN. Therefore, the present study is conducted with the aim of evaluation the Kolb’s learning style of international students of Mashhad University of Medical SciencesMethods & Materials: This is a descriptive-analytical study. In this study, ۲۷۷ international students have been surveyed. The study was conducted in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences from April ۲۰۲۳ to May ۲۰۲۴. The questionnaire, which is provided both in printed and online format, consist of two parts. The questionnaire consists of ۱۲ sentences and four options for each sentence. The validity and reliability of this questionnaire had been examined in similar studies. SPSS۲۶ software is used for data analysis.Results: ۲۷۷ students with the age range of ۱۸ to ۴۹ and an average of ۲۶.۳۴ participated in this study. ۵۲.۳% of the students were female. The most common learning style was assimilator with ۳۷.۵%, which was significantly more than other learning styles (p<۰.۰۰۱). Learning style was not significantly related to gender, age, level of education, entry year and individual's language. ۵۵% of health faculty students, ۳۸.۹% of nursing and midwifery faculty students, ۳۸.۲% of medical faculty students, ۳۳.۵% of pharmacy faculty students, and ۳۱% of paramedical faculty students have an assimilator learning style. In dental students, diverger learning style was the most common, with a prevalence of ۳۷.۵%. The highest average is related to learning through thinking and the lowest is related to learning through feeling.Conclusion: The most common learning style among the international students of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences was assimilator with ۳۷.۵%. Diverger, converger and accomodator were in the next ranks.
