ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS OF CEMENT COMPANY AND POLLUTION PREVENTION OPPURTUNITES CASE STUDY: FARS CENENT COMPANY

Cement industry in Iran have a spectcular importance in the industry dre to its influence on economy. In 1933 tons per day was founded in the southeast of Tehran. Iran is now the largest producer of cement in the Middle East. Fars Cement Company was founded in 1950 on 140 acres of land at the beginning of the Shiraz- Bushehr road. It started with production capacity of 200 tons per day while its current production capacity has increased to 2,300 tons per day for the time being. This paper reviews pollution processes and how to mange and reduce emissions and wastes that are produced. In this paper, a method for collecting field data from plant sources and authorities are used. Pollutants have been investingated in three sections of air pollution, solid waste and wastewater. After studying the amount of emission release, environmental flow diagram of the plnt solutions are offered which includes: create an indoor environment to restore in the grinding material to prevent sound emission, pervent leakage and loss, use the waste of other factory as a fuel with a high heating value and ect.
