چکیده مقاله:
John Rawls, in his theory of justice, emphasizes that justice in human societies can be achieved by adhering to principles such as the "original position," "veil of ignorance," "equality of opportunity," "respect for human dignity," the "principle of basic liberties," and the "difference principle." A noteworthy aspect of this theory is the criticisms it has faced. These critiques question whether the proposed theory possesses internal coherence and whether its elements are compatible and harmonized. Additionally, have countries considered Rawls's declared principles in their domestic policymaking? Moreover, how do racial and identity activists view this theory? Furthermore, as we know, justice is one of the fundamental principles articulated in human rights documents, which underscores the importance of paying close attention to this theory. Therefore, this paper aims to evaluate Rawls's proposed principles and, as far as possible, address the criticisms raised regarding them. Another issue that will be examined is the feasibility of implementing this theory. Is the discussed theory merely an idealistic aspiration, or have some countries successfully implemented it?
