Synthesis of Some New Heterocyclic Compounds Derived from Imidazole and Study of Anti-Microbial Activity

In this work, some new heterocyclic compounds will be synthesized from Imidazole as starting material via the reaction with ethyl chloro acetate to produce compound (۱), and then treated with hydrazine hydrate to yield compound (۲), compound (۲) react with substituted aromatic aldehyde to produce compound (۳). This compound will react with sodium azide to produce compound (۴). The newly synthesized compounds identified by FTIR,۱H-NMR,۱۳C-NMR, and their physical properties measured and biological activity estimated for compounds.
